Total Tranquillity - Stress harms. Make it a thing of your past not your present
What is Indian Head Massage?

The art of Indian Head Massage is an Ayurvedic form of healing and relaxation used widely in Asia.
It is a stress-busting therapy which works on the muscular tissues of the neck, shoulders, scalp and face to relax or stimulate the body and help it maintain harmony. It provides relief for mental as well as physical stress. It involves working with a firm and gentle rhythm to undo blockages and relief of built-up tension and on an emotional level it calms the spirit, promoting relaxation and relieving stress.

It is useful for headaches, sinusitis, Temporo-Mandibular joint tension, migraine, eye strain, improved concentration and muscle tension in the neck and shoulders.

The Malish technique addresses the back, neck, scalp and face using a variety of massage pressures and techniques and is one of the most relaxing types of massages you will ever experience. A typical treatment normally lasts 30-40 minutes

Ideal for any neck or shoulder tension, the massage starts on the back and neck working deeply over the muscles and pressure points that help the muscles to relax.
Moving on to the scalp, massage techniques are used which relax, stimulate and revive this area. The whole scalp is covered to encourage circulation, oxygen and nutrients to the area. The effect of this is to help stimulate hair growth and revitalise the brain.
Finally, the treatment finishes with a wonderful soothing face massage, which includes pressure points and draining techniques that help with headaches and sinus problems.
The massage does not require removal of clothing - wear comfortable clothing and a thin top (such as a t-shirt or shirt, etc).

On the other hand, a stimulating head massage helps to clarify the mind and enables you to concentrate without tension.

There are many more benefits and, if you have never had a massage, now is definitely the time to have one.

Remember that prevention is better than cure. Once you show signs of improvement we will continue to work with you to keep the harmony and balance already achieved.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a wonderful hands on healing treatment that rebalances your energy. When energy is lost or imbalanced in your system it can leave you feeling drained, tired, irritable, emotional, stressed and even ill, what Reiki does is top up that energy as it is channelled through the hands of the therapist, sending it to the parts of your system that are depleted, this allows the body to start its own natural healing process bringing you back to optimum health, it’s a wonderfully relaxing soothing treatment and one everybody should experience.

Receiving a healing transmission is a gentle, non-intrusive and beautifully relaxing experience.

A session is approximately one hour.
It is recommended that time is allowed following a session for an early night, as plenty of sleep is often required to aid the healing process, as although incredibly gentle, a transmission is deceptively powerful!
You will be treated in a very comfortable, safe and peaceful space, lying fully clothed on a soft treatment couch.

Soothing music will be played in the background, and the whole experience is one of deepest relaxation, often accompanied by a feeling of either weightlessness and floating, or feeling that you are sinking through the treatment couch.

Your experience will be unique to you, but there is often a sense of being 'held' or having a very loving energy wrapped around you.
Miracles do happen, but the effects of transmissions are generally cumulative, bringing the body, mind, emotions and spirit back into balance and creating a sense of well being and a more positive outlook on life.

People often experience a new clarity about their situations and a motivation to 'get their lives on track' and for this reason, at least four sessions are generally recommended to gain optimum benefit.
